Oak Creek, WI — KMF Metals has added a high volume tube polisher to its equipment base to extend the company’s polishing capabilities to handle larger polishing projects for its current and future clients.
The G+P Tube Polisher, manufactured by Grinding and Polishing Machinery of Indianapolis, features a double belted 5 HP motor running at 1,800 RPM that is capable of polishing straight or tapered shafts and cylinders from .5″ to 3.5″ diameters. Production pieces make contact with the abrasive polishing belt in an unsuppported area, making it possible to polish tapered and straight parts, according to a G+P Machinery brochure.
