KMF Metals, Inc, worked with Mero Structures, to construct, polish and install the skylight ring, which holds a plate glass window at the top of a dramatic rotunda.

The individual rings were made from 4 each of 4 inch square 1/4 inch thick wall stainless steel tubes sectioned 14 feet long and 4 each of 2 inch by 6 inch rectangular 1/4 inch thick wall stainless steel tubes section 14 feet long.

Multiple stroke sanders were used to polish the 20 foot in diameter stainless steel ring. The pieces were roll formed and then bolted together at the site during installation.
